Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Sewer scope inspection services are needed to determine the route, depth, and condition of potential nonconforming sewer (NCS) laterals. Inspection services may also occasionally be needed to investigate other types of sewer laterals, including conforming sewer connections and stormwater downspout connections. 2. Inspection results will be used for Design projects and to resolve NCS issues under our Capital Improvement Project (CIP). 3. Sewer scope inspections will begin on private property and end at the connection to the public sewer main or until the camera can be advanced no further due to an obstruction. 4. Typically, contractors will be able to access sewer services through a clean-out on private property; however, this isn’t always the case. 5. In the event that a licensed plumber is needed to assist with any work related to the sewer inspections, the Proposer may subcontract a licensed plumber. 6. Sewer services are typically for 4”to 6” diameter pipes.
