Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provider shall employ trained staff that is courteous, helpful and considerate to provide services under this Contract. Provider's employees shall not use improper language or act in a loud, boisterous manner, or act in any inappropriate or improper manner as determined by the AEC. Provider shall stress the vast importance of customer service and not tolerate any resistance to staffing models or decisions made by the AEC. Provider shall reassign or up to dismissal by Provider, any employee after notification by AEC management that such employee has engaged in unacceptable behavior. B. All of the Provider's employees must be at least 18 years of age or older. C. The Provider shall agree that all service personnel under this Contract shall be employees of the Provider, who has the sole and exclusive right to hire and discharge any employees, and shall be solely responsible for all actions and functions to be carried out by its employees. D. The AEC will try to give a minimum notice of at least three weeks to a contractor when parking and traffic assistance is required. E. Workers shall report for work in uniforms and high visibility vests furnished by the provider. Uniforms and high visibility vests shall be worn at all times while working. F. The AEC shall furnish a maximum of 3 golf carts or other methods of transportation to move workers from one work location to another work location if necessary. AEC shall provide two radios for supervisors to communicate with AEC parking staff. The provider shall furnish all workers with two-way radios for internal communications and may be required to provide traffic control devices (flags, wands, etc.) depending upon event staffing levels. G. It is critical that all workers report to the worksite at their scheduled start time. H. People assigned may not have any history of sexual misconduct or any other criminal history and must be neat in appearance. It is the responsibility of the contracted vendor to screen for criminal background and to regulate dress. I. Work performed under this agreement may require standing for extended periods of time on concrete, blacktop or grass in all types of weather conditions. J. No smoking, alcohol or drug use is permitted on post. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. Any member of provider’s staff who is found to be using during a work shift or is intoxicated during a work shift shall be immediately removed from post and may not work on campus for future events. K. The Deputy Director – Event & Guest Services or designee has the sole authority to determine if a Provider staff member can work on campus. Provider staff may be removed for any reason.
