The Red Clay Consolidated School District is soliciting proposals from professional engineering and/or architectural firms to provide design services for numerous renovation projects over a fouryear period, totaling approximately $319 million across 24 sites within the District. The District intends to establish a pool of engineers and architects from which selections will be made on a project-by-project basis to serve as the Engineer/Architect of Record (EOR/AOR). The lead firm, whether architectural or engineering, will be determined based on the District’s assessment of the scope, geographical location, and type of work for each individual project. The EOR/AOR will be responsible for developing the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents and overseeing the Bidding and Construction Administration phases. The District plans to use general contracting (with prequalification) as the construction delivery method.
