Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Board requires the services of a licensed psychologist or psychologists who are qualified to interview licensees holding a licensed professional clinical counseling (LPCC) or licensed professional counseling associate (LPCA) credential who are referred by the board for an assessment to determine whether the licensee is physically or mentally incapable of practicing professional counseling with reasonable skill and safety to clients duet to a suspected substance use and/or mental health disorder. Duties will include the following: 1. A clinical interview of the licensee. 2. A records/documents review. 3. A substance use assessment, if appropriate; and 4. Drug testing or a drug testing referral, if appropriate.
