Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Fire Station 1, 1020 East Central Avenue, Bismarck ND. Only the existing driveways will be removed and replaced. The existing sidewalk and driveway apron will remain in place. The contractor must verify the Square Footage prior to bid. North Driveway approximately 2,900 Square Feet South Driveway approximately 2,940 Square Feet 2. Given the critical nature of the Fire Station, only one driveway can be replaced at a time. Contractor will replace the first driveway and allow it to fully cure before starting the removal of the 2nd driveway. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Chad Gee, Deputy Fire Chief, or his representative, on which driveway to replace first to allow them to shift their operations in order to maintain public safety. Contractor will allow adequate time between driveways to allow the new concrete to cure and allow the Deputy Fire Chief to shift operations before starting on the 2nd driveway. 3. Removal of the existing concrete driveway. Concrete and any tie rebar shall be cut to avoid any damage to the existing concrete floor inside the fire station. 4.
