The City is seeking a qualified software consultant firm to aid in the transition from a hybrid paper/electronic permitting process to a fully digital system to meet the requirements of SB 5290. The City of Sedro-Woolley, per SB 5290, is now required to transition from its hybrid paper/electronic system to a fully digital software system capable of processing digital permit applications, virtual inspections, electronic review and with the capacity for video storage. The City is applying for the Department of Commerce’s Paper to Digital Grant to fund the transition. Contracts executed for this grant are “deliverable-based” and will be distributed according to the schedule provided in a scope of work as proposed by the City and approved by the Department of Commerce.
