Objective 1: Become a champion of KUMC through acquisition of knowledge of the institution, people, culture, and leaders, as well as the community in which they reside. 1) Incorporate partnership with existing candidate developer/research to accelerate learning and ensure process continuity (as well as bring own researcher to add capacity). 2) Learn organizational structures and relevant internal processes. 3) Acquire and maintain knowledge of the region and city to be able to foster familiarity and comfort within the community for continued professional growth and navigate bespoke candidate needs and concerns. • Objective 2: Full cycle recruiting for up to 5 executive/leadership searches per year. 1) Collaborate closely with hiring executive to understand their hiring needs and organizational goals and develop tailored recruitment strategies to source top talent. 2) Build diverse candidate pools of top research talent from nationally recognized institutions. 3) Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process. 4) Be involved with Search Committee formation, facilitation, and effective time utilization. 5) Communicate regularly with hiring manager to help ensure quality of candidates, process efficiency, and driving to solid outcomes. 6) Utilize expertise and relationship-building to guide search committees and candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for both client and candidates. 7) Partner with KUMC Human Resources to ensure adherence to organizational recruitment policies, procedures, and processes.
