DNR is looking for a vendor who can provide a helicopter for providing external load long-line transportation of, and performing precise placement of, a minimum of 4 trail bridges and footings on backcountry trails. The trails are on DNR property located within the Raging River State Forest and Rattlesnake Mountain Scenic Area, near the Cities of North Bend and Snoqualmie in King County, WA. The bridges are between 40ft. and 80ft. long and include steel I-beam stringers, prefabricated concrete footings and pallets of materials. The work of this contract will include flying the bridge components from nearby staging areas to the designated drop sites, precisely placing the bridge footings and stringers and dropping the pallets of materials at drop sites. See EXHIBIT E - with staging areas and bridge site locations. Staging areas are located within 2.5 miles of the drop sites.
