Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MSVA is seeking to establish a contract(s) for Psychiatric Services to residents of our long-Term Care Facilities such as psychiatric consultation, evaluation, treatment, and referral services for a wide range of psychiatric problems experienced by residents at State Veterans Nursing Homes in Collins,(150 Residents) Jackson, (100 Residents) Kosciusko, (150 Residents) Oxford,(125 Residents) and Tradition, (100 Residents), Mississippi. : Routine /Scheduled: residents are to be seen either routine and or scheduled in which the resident will receive direct patient evaluation and initial treatment within 2 - 5 days of the receipt of refenal. The Provider will follow-up with patients referred under this category routinely, until it is no longer clinically necessary or appropriate to do so. Provide services to maintain a level of care equal to the appropriate standards of practice. For all pertinent residents of the Home, Contractor agrees to first bill Medicare Part B and/or other third part insurance carried by the resident for psychiatric services. Any remaining deductible, co-payment in accordance with the Medicare fee allowable amount, or outstanding balance will be invoiced directly to the resident and/or his/her responsible party.
