This Contract provides for the construction of Kitsap PUD provided fiber cables for the Nature Way/Frogsong and Kingston Farm fiber projects using the strand and lash construction methods along PSE poles, and installation of conduit in Kitsap County ROW and in private roads within existing utility easements and other work necessary for a complete project. Underground work within Kitsap County right of way will be a minimum 36” in depth and underground work in private roadway utility easements will be a minimum 24” depth. Contractor to coordinate with participating Homeowners for the proper location and installation of the conduit/duct and Demarc placements. All work to be in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Splicing of fiber is not part of the scope of work being bid for this project. KPUD has prepurchased and will provide the fiber, vaults, pedestals, multi-port terminals (MPT), ROC drops and storage racks to the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for including all other materials necessary for construction of the project in their bid including but not limited to: suspension clamps, anchors, preforms, lashing wire, lashing clamps, straps and spacers, conduit bends, etc.
