Specifications include, but are not limited to: Required Contracted Personnel Responsibilities: 1. Bilingual Housekeeping Supervisor: Participates in planning, development, implementation of procedures, policies and programs to ensure timely, consistent effective management of housekeeping, laundry services, efficient personnel utilization, training, security of property, equipment, compliance with safety, and sanitation requirements. Oversees the housekeeping functions to ensure established quality standards are achieved consistently with the requirements of Army Lodging Standards for Service, Operations, and Facilities to ensure clean, orderly and attractive appearance of all guestrooms, public areas and back of the house areas of lodging facilities. Responsible for the effective management and supervision of housekeepers to include preparation of staff schedules, development, utilization of appropriate training, incentive programs, deals effectively objectively with subordinates, supervisory, management personnel, guests, contractors and other outside contacts. Supervises assigned staff. Passes on instructions to housekeepers received from the Lodging Manager or Front Desk Clerk. Assigns immediate tasks to be performed by individual housekeepers. Ensures that needed equipment, supplies, materials are available. Ensures that there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy. Checks work in progress, and when finished for compliance with instructions on work sequence, procedures, policies and instructions.
