Contractor shall provide fruits and vegetables to various Metro departments and agencies including, but not necessarily limited to the Metropolitan Action Commission (MAC). Contractor shall provide, to the maximum extent practicable, fruits and vegetables that are produced in the United States and meet the Buy American requirements of 7 CFR 210.21 (d) and memo SP 23-2024 (attached) and/or the most up to date guidance issued by the federal government relative to the national school lunch program. Contractor shall deliver fruits and vegetables to various locations in Davidson County including, but not necessarily limited to: * 2233 Winford Avenue, Nashville, TN 37211 * 621 Howerton Street, Nashville, TN 37206 * 1203 Third Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37210 * 1624 Fifth Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37208 * 5900 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 * 445 Cotton Lane, Nashville, TN 37211 * 1901 Lischey Avenue, Nashville, TN 37207 * 1281 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217 Contractor shall allow fruits and vegetables to be picked up by Metro or their designee(s) as required. Contractor shall deliver fruits and vegetables in temperature controlled trucks. Contractor shall deliver fruits and vegetables during hours designated by Metro. Contractor shall stock deliveries in areas designated by Metro in the manner prescribed by Metro. Contractor shall replace damaged or spoiled products at no cost to Metro within 24 hours of receiving notice from Metro that the products, in Metro's sole determination, are not acceptable. Contractor shall invoice Metro is the manner prescribed by the ordering department. Contractor shall submit to and pay for background checks on delivery personnel as required by Metro.
