The scope of work includes providing consulting expertise, facilitating Maryland Energy Storage Initiative Workgroup meetings, and coordinating with other Commission workgroups whose activities intersect with Maryland Energy Storage Program, to design Phase II of the Maryland Energy Storage Program. The deliverables include quarterly interim reports summarizing program design decisions and consensus and non-consensus issues. A Final Report is required by December 31, 2025, with Phase II recommendations for the design of the Maryland Energy Storage Program, in a mutually agreed format suitable for a filing with the Commission. The prospective contractor may be required to participate in any legislative or Commission proceeding(s) that may be requested to present the Workgroup’s results through April 30, 2026.
