Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. PCMC is seeking sealed bids for Carpet Tile Removal and Installation, including but not limited to: - Installation of rubber base - Supplying and applying carpet adhesive - Floor preparation - Furniture moving throughout carpet tile removal and installation process. II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. The current carpet tiles are approximately 20 years old and cover an estimated total area of 1,020 square yards. B. The subfloor is primarily concrete. C. The contractor shall remove all existing carpet tiles and rubber bases in the designated areas. The removal process MUST minimize damage to the subfloor and drywall. D. The contractor shall properly dispose of all removed carpet tiles in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. E. The contractor shall move all furniture and return it back to its original location before, during, or after re-flooring is being completed. F. The contractor shall provide and apply new pressure sensitive carpet tile adhesive to all tiles. G. The contractor shall replace and install all 4” rubber base, approximately 1,800 linear feet, while minimizing damage to the paint and dry wall.
