Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State Entity seeks professional communications consulting services to assist with policy and programmatic issues arising from Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids®, State Health Benefit Plan, and other areas administered by the agency. The Supplier must be knowledgeable of Georgia state government, legislative processes, and Georgia’s media landscape. The Supplier will be expected to advise the State Entity’s leadership, including the Commissioner and executive team, regarding responses to matters of public interest from the media and other sources, crisis communications, and public-facing messaging via various platforms. The Supplier will also be expected to engage in strategic discussions with the State Entity’s leadership and its team, provide general and targeted engagement guidance and training, and serve as a response-expert. The Supplier will not be expected to develop or execute Public Relations (PR) campaigns under this contract; however, the Supplier may be requested to advise on and execute media buys and placements across varied platforms in the event a particular project scope requires it.
