Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Firm must sub-contract with all required and needed team consultants, engineers, and all relevant design firms and shall include but shall not be limited to: 1. Mechanical Engineer; 2. Electrical Engineer; 3. Structural Engineer; 4. Landscape Engineer; 5. Civil Engineer; 6. Architectural interior and furniture, fixtures and equipment (“FF&E”) design, including signage and art; 7. Building Envelope Commissioning (“BECx”) Consulting; and 8. The selected design team will be responsible for all deferred submittals/engineering requirements. Deferred submittals may only be accepted if they are clearly defined, highlighted in both the drawings and specification documents, and discussed with the CM/GC before the bidding phase so that it is clearly understood to whom the responsibility will be tasked. B. Programing and conceptual master plan design phase, including: 1. Evaluation of the County’s programming and space requirements for the Library and Senior Services building, such as office space, break room, children’s area, circulation and reference areas, kitchen and food preparation, dining area, parking, outdoor space, and other needs of the department operations that would need to fit on the proposed site and campus for the Project and possible future senior center; 2. Evaluation of federal, state, and local requirements and standards, including the Project City’s zoning requirements, design standards, building specifications, and other requirements relevant to the Project; 3. Meetings with the County, the City, and all other stakeholders to receive input and feedback on design and project scope and 4. Provide deliverables, including new concept/master plan drawings and details for the campus layout, which may be presented to the County Commissioners and Bountiful City Council.
