The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is seeking applications to provide family support and education throughout Wisconsin to provide a sustained statewide infrastructure for the provision of information, education, support, and advocacy for families. The project will foster youth, family, and community involvement as the Wisconsin Children’s System of Care works towards achieving its vision of children and families are valued, understood, and supported in their communities. The goals of the project are to implement a statewide parent peer support system, increase advocacy for children system of care improvements, and provide education to tribal nations, counties and employers on the purpose and benefits of parent peer specialists.
