The purpose of this Solicitation is to establish the State’s Tribal Relations Training & Consultation Services Program for Eligible Agencies, Employees, and the State of Arizona. Examples of areas of knowledge/experience to be provided through this solicitation include but are not limited to: 1.1.1. Provide qualifications to train on the following topics and a summary of respective content. 1.1.2. Foundational components of federal Indian law and policy. 1.1.3. Foundational components of the impact of State law and history on Indigenous people and tribal relationships. 1.1.4. Define Tribal sovereignty, individuality, and the government-togovernment relationship. 1.1.5. Familiarity with Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) Section 41-2051 to 41- 2054. 1.1.6. Tribal Data Sovereignty and best practices for State/Federal agencies accessing, utilizing, and disseminating tribal data. 1.1.7. Cultural Humility, Awareness, and Sensitivity Training. 1.1.8. Tribal Consultation, Coordination, Collaboration, and Listening Sessions. 1.1.9. Appropriate terminology when speaking to Tribes. 1.1.10. Relationship building and outreach with Tribal Nations.
