Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. SCOPE OF WORK The successful contractor shall furnish all labor and materials required to remove and replace carpet and/or solid surface floors located at the various locations throughout the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. This is an on-demand contract. Annual quantities on bid schedule are estimates only. Quantities will vary depending upon the needs of the County. There is no guaranteed size of task order. II. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Remove existing carpet or solid surface floor and then dispose of all material off County property. B. Check for moisture issues and install moisture membrane if needed. C. Install new carpet or solid surface floor according to manufacturer’s specifications. D. Remove existing cove base and install cove base. E. Secure work area before and during the project to ensure safety at all times. F. Clean up all debris and dispose of it according to EPA regulations.
