Specifications include, but are not limited to: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS These are the minimum requirements necessary to provide pest control services for insects and the prevention and/or abatement of other rodent and insect infestations including, but not limited to the following: Pigeons, Rats, Mice, Cockroaches, Water beetles, Wasps, Spiders, Earwigs, Flying ants, and Ants. Proposing vendors must submit a proposal which clearly states the facility they are willing to provide service to and which of 5.2.1 they are able to handle. Aggressive pigeon abatement, as well as weed abatement and disinfection services, are needed at some of the facilities. Proposals should include suggestions for effective abatement. AREAS OF TREATMENT Areas of treatment may include, but are not limited to, the following: All accessible areas of the interior and exterior of all buildings, Plumbing accesses, Pipe chase, Entry points throughout each facility, All common areas, storage areas, maintenance areas, break room, around the vending machines, and restrooms, Main and auxiliary culinary areas, Housing units, Electrical and mechanical rooms, Vault, and Lawn area, as needed. On-call fogging for mosquitoes (May-September) on an as needed basis only with prior NDOC approval. On-call spraying for lawn mosquitoes (May-September) on an as needed basis only with prior NDOC approval. On-call pre-emergent and weed abatement services. On-call disinfectant services. On-call bedbug removal services.
