Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Be registered as a business in the State of Illinois with the Illinois Department of Revenue and provide related documentation. 2) Conduct a daytime and evening site visit of the City of Highland Park and Park District of Highland Park shared facility and property at 1201 Park Avenue to view current conditions, current Monument Sign structure, interior and exterior facility architecture, utilities and related infrastructure, Park Avenue West sidewalks, parkways, and related sightlines. 3) Design a minimum of three Monument Sign concepts and illustrations for review which includes the following “evenly shared” sign panels with the City of Highland Park and Park District of Highland Park entities names and which also include Monument Sign options, features, and support in the following currently proposed hierarchy from top to bottom: a. “The Preserve of Highland Park“ b. “City of Highland Park.” May or may not include the City Logo attached to this RFP document c. “Park District of Highland Park.” May or may not include the Park District Logo attached to this document d. “Recreation Center” (“Park Fitness” name may be used pending PDHP Board approval) e. “Senior Services Center” or other name as determined by the City of Highland Park f. “Banquets & Events” or other name as determined by the City of Highland Park 4) The aforementioned entity names, descriptions, or related logos may change between time of the RFP and actual Monument Sign construction. Clients and selected vendor will confirm prior to construction. 5) Present Monument Sign lighting and/or illumination, and/or solar power support options within Federal, State and the City’s existing sign code (See Addendum B) 6) Sign panels should be able to be replaced/updated as needed. 7) Present weatherproof programmable electronic LED sign/message board options and remote programming capability (and additional cost) 8) Evaluate the need for protective bollards around the Monument Sign 9) Present Monument Sign warranty, service, maintenance, and replacement plan 10) Provide a project timeline (Project implementation planned for Spring of 2025) 11) Provide a project total cost
