Specifications include, but are not limited to: Building 46 is a three-story building that contains approximately 27 rooms per floor, which are utilized by the HIARNG as Office spaces, Common Rooms, Exercise Rooms, Break Rooms, Storage Rooms, Mechanicals Rooms, etc. Some rooms contain bathrooms with toilets and showers. Additionally, some rooms contain existing vinyl tile flooring with rubber cove bases, while others contain existing carpet flooring with rubber cove bases. On the first floor, there are approximately 8 rooms that consist of asbestos containing vinyl tile and adhesive. On the second floor, asbestos containing adhesive can be found throughout the entire floor. On the third floor, there are approximately 21 rooms that consist of asbestos containing vinyl tile and adhesive. Floor plans of the entire building and locations of asbestos containing flooring can be found in the attachment titled HIARNG Building 46 Flooring Demolition and Replacement Drawings. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to perform all work related to demolishing all built in furniture, demolishing approximately 2,040 Square Feet (SF) of existing carpet flooring, demolishing approximately 17,200 SF of existing vinyl tile flooring (approximately 11,400 SF of which may be asbestos containing flooring material), and installing approximately 19,200 SF of new non-asbestos containing vinyl floor tiles in the HIARNG MEDCOM Building 46. The bathrooms, janitor closets, elevator lounges, and stairwells are excluded from this project
