The general scope of work is the renovation of all 500 guestrooms and suites, renovation of guestroom corridors, and renovation of the Club Lounge. Guestroom and suites scope of work includes replacement of casegoods and softgoods including replacement of carpet; new paint and wallcovering wall finishes; renovation of bathrooms including new painted wall finishes, new lighted mirrors, and conversion of approximately 75% of tubs to showers; and renovation of finishes in corridors. Club Lounge scope of work includes replacement of finishes and furnishings and limited new millwork in the buffet area. As a separate, unrelated project, a new parking garage will be constructed near the hotel and the timing of that construction is anticipated to overlap with the timing of this renovation. No site logistics plans for the parking garage are currently available, but bidders should anticipate sharing access to and around the hotel with parking garage construction activities.
