The scope of this project consists of preparing a Draft and Initial Scoping Letter, final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates, topographic survey, geotechnical investigation and report with earthwork and pavement section recommendations, coordination with impacted utility companies, and defining right of way needs. Right of way acquisition is not part of this project; however, new right of way needs shall be determined by the consultant at Stage III. The basis of design will be as presented in the Town of Clarkdale’s Project Initiation Letter, dated 04/26/2024. This project is state-funded for design through the AZ Smart Grant program. The design consultant shall be responsible for Stage III, IV, and V submittals, cost estimates, special provisions, environmental technical documents, Initial and Final Materials Design Reports, geotechnical memo, and utility coordination and clearance letter. No new right of way is anticipated, but is in close proximity to tribal lands. The Town of Clarkdale will coordinate with the tribes and local stakeholders. Right of way needs shall be confirmed by the consultant by the Stage III submittal.
