Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will be using Dual Chemically Coated Glass Beads for drop-on application into the Waterborne Traffic Line Paint (WTLP) for the 2024 striping season. ACHD anticipates purchasing approximately 440,000 pounds of the glass beads. These quantities are the projected approximations and they may be higher or lower depending upon the final quantities needed by ACHD. The quantity of glass beads to be purchased shall be in the ACHD sole discretion. The product will be primarily shipped in 2,000 pound (lbs) minimum bulk bags and occasional 50 lbs. bags. The VENDOR shall assume all costs arising from the use of patented materials, devices, or processes used on, or incorporated into the work. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and save harmless, ACHD and its duly authorized agents from lawsuits or action of any nature, for, or because of, the use of any patented materials, equipment, devices or processes.
