Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The LFUCG will order helmets on “as needed” basis for the term of the contract. The LFUCG does not guarantee quantities. • The only acceptable helmets are items #UST6R350 / #UL6R350 Bullard UST structural firefighting helmet with Retrak visor w/reflective trim/impact liner (NFPA1971 compliant), and items #ULW6R350 / #UG6R350 Bullard UST-LW structural firefighting helmet with Retrak visor w/reflective trim/impact liner (NFPA 1971 compliant). Bids received with an alternate brand will be deemed nonresponsive. • Leather passports are not part of this bid solicitation. • Delivery of helmets should not exceed forty (40) working days from the date of order. • Contract may be awarded to various vendors by item, section, or as a whole based upon the vendor that submits the most responsive bid determined to be in the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG). • All shipping, delivery and handling should be included in pricing. • The bid package contains mandatory documents that need to be completed and posted to the “Response Submissions” tab. Failure to do so makes the bid submission non-responsive and not considered for award.
