Approximately $357,192 will be available through the FY 2022 STOP VAWA Grant funds. The RFP will be open to non-profit agencies with IRS 501(c)(3) status, including faith-based and other neighborhood organizations, as set forth in Regulation 28 C.F.R. Part 38. Applicants may request a minimum funding amount of $50,000, up to a maximum funding amount of $150,000 per project for a 9-month contract period. Multiple contracts may be awarded. For FY 2022, the Department is obligated to meet the 10 percent set-aside for culturally-specific services. o At least $31,749 must be set aside for culturally-specific services. o Funding decisions will be made based on proposal scores and the need to ensure that the set-aside for culturally-specific services is met. Additional points will be given for projects that support sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking services to individuals impacted by the Maui wildfire disaster, or for projects that serve geographically isolated rural areas as defined by OVW. The Department is seeking input and comments from the public on the service specifications of the planned RFP.
