Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All work shall be in accordance with this scope of work. 2. Since most of all windowpanes will be installed from the inside of the building, Contractor shall protect the personal affects inside each office including sidewalks, roadways, fencing, and vegetation. The contractor shall maintain a safe work area around the building. Contractor shall supply all safety signs and barricades during work where the public and employees’ entrances. 3. The Contractor shall follow all applicable City, State and Federal codes and regulations. Contractor to adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and assure all employees working on a high raise building to have all appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE). 4. City Hall complex (City Hall, Civil Courts, Annex) has approximately 115 windows of manufacture by INTERPANE OR EQUAL ¼ inch Evergreen glass that are either cracked, and or broken. City Hall has a single pane glass, and Civil Courts has double windowpanes. Some windows may have temporary blocking. Contractor Is requested to perform its own inspection. City Hall’s windows are original to the building, whereas are accessible from the interior of the building for inspection and installation. The contractor performs its own inspection during the site visit as indicated below. 5. Contractor shall remove original INTERPANE,1/4-inch Evergreen windowpane (2) with the original replace or an equal to the existing glass to meet the required specifications. A. Glass windows to meet existing window code and appearance. B. Replace all interior and exterior trim as required. C. Cleaning, inspecting all frames, remove old caulk from all joints and seams. D. Remove and dispose of existing windows to be replaced. Notes: The original Interpane ¼ inch windows were tinted with Interpane Evergreen. The replacement windowpanes must match the original tint as closely as possible. Exterior windows to be removed and installed from the inside of the building and inspection is required. The contractor will have an opportunity to inspect during a site visit. Contractor will be required to prepare a schedule to perform work inside the building top coordinate with City employees. Work in certain areas may require work on weekends such as Civil Courts. 6. All materials used on the job shall be equal to or better than the existing materials quality. 7. Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all materials and debris. 8. Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools and equipment that are necessary to complete the project. 9. Contractor shall provide all warranty information; contractor ensures window is warranted for water intrusion.
