Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1.1 The inspections shall be carried out in such manner to maintain 100% compliance with all National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Memphis Fire Department, state and local codes, ordinances, and standards. 1.1.2 The inspection shall be implemented in accordance with procedures meeting or exceeding those established in NFPA 25, current edition and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. 1.1.2.1 Tasks shall be performed by personnel who have developed competence through training and experience. 1.1.3 The contractor shall notify the alarm receiving facility before testing or shutting down a system or its supply. 1.1.3.1 The notification shall include the purpose for the shutdown, the system or components involved, and the estimated time of shutdown.
