Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pump Testing must be performed at the Hot Springs Fire Department Training Grounds (517 Vernel Street) or another suitable location within the City of Hot Springs as agreed on by all parties. Pump Testing must follow specifications in NFPA 1901 (Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus). Third-party Companies shall be accredited to the requirements in ISO/IEC 17020 (Requirements for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection) or ISO/IEC Guide 65 (General Requirements for Bodies Operating Product Certification Systems). Pump testing must be conducted by an Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT). Upon completion of Pump Testing, all results will be submitted to the Hot Springs Fire Department in paper and electronic format.
