Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Montana is conducting this Request for Information as we seek to enhance the citizen experience through the strategic use of technology and design thinking, ensuring easy access to the resources and opportunities needed to achieve economic stability, improve health and well-being, and foster independence and self-sufficiency. We intend to develop a seamless, intuitive, and accessible online portal to facilitate improved citizen engagement across three state agencies: the Department of Commerce (DOC), the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI), and the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). Additionally, we plan to streamline internal business processes to increase operational efficiencies and state employee satisfaction. This initiative, titled “Pathways to Prosperity,” embodies Montana’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and customer service excellence. Through the application of innovative technologies and user-centered design principles, we aim to deliver positive outcomes for citizens and create an environment where individuals can thrive and prosper through more effective, accessible, and responsive tools and technologies purpose-built to address their unique needs.
