Specifications include, but are not limited to: Distributor Requirements ▪ The successful bidder shall be a licensed dealer/distributor of the proposed equipment. ▪ The successful bidder shall maintain a store front and be located within 20 miles of Seaford, DE. ▪ The successful bidder shall maintain an inventory of common replacement parts for the proposed equipment including belts, filters, cutting blades, and other common wear parts. ▪ The successful bidder shall offer full on-site repair and maintenance services of the proposed equipment with a 72-hour turn-around time on most repairs. Equipment General ▪ The proposed equipment shall be a new 2024 model year. ▪ The proposed equipment shall be a John Deere 1550 TerrainCut 4wd Mower (or approved equal). ▪ The proposed equipment shall be a Front-mount deck, rear engine configuration. ▪ The proposed equipment shall be equipped with internal wet disk brakes with a standard locking master brake. ▪ The proposed equipment shall be equipped with hydraulic cylinder controls for smoother speed and steering control. ▪ The proposed equipment shall be equipped with a high back full suspension seat with arm rests to reduce operator fatigue. ▪ The proposed equipment drive tires shall be of a non-aggressive turf tire tread design. ▪ The proposed equipment shall have a minimum factory rated travel speed of 12 mph forward and 5mph reverse. ▪ The proposed equipment shall have a minimum fuel tank capacity of 16 gallons and be capable of 8 hours of continuous cutting operation. ▪ The proposed equipment shall be equipped with removable front caster arms with flat free tires which are easily replaced when damaged. ▪ The equipment’s hydraulic pumps and wheel motors shall be separate components. The pumps shall have a minimum rated capacity of 5.1 gpm.
