Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. GENERAL A. Unit bid shall be a twelve (12) foot hydraulic reversible blade tripping snowplow. All plows bid shall be completely compatible with the Gledhill hitching assembly, without any modifications (i.e. grinding), NO EXCEPTIONS. Particular attention should be given to the mounting of the trop springs and the cushion block (full clearance shall be provided for hoses, fittings, and trip springs throughout the full range of motion of the plow). B. The entire unit shall be rated structurally for a minimum of interstate and highway snow removal applications while being utilized by a plow truck with a GVRW of 66,000 lbs. 2. PLOW AND MOLDBOARD A. Plow length: twelve (12) feet at the cutting edge. B. Moldboard height: Minimum forty (41) inches measured from the bottom of the cutting edge.
