Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of: CONTRACTOR Installation of approximately 13,400 feet or 2.54 miles in overall length of 4- inch Steel High Pressure Gas Pipeline to serve the Walton County Jail, Including Two Horizontal Directional Drills Under GDOT Highway 78 in compliance with GDOT permits, with HDD 01 at approximately 275 feet and HDD 02 at approximately 420 feet in length, and Open Cut Construction of the remaining sections Under City of Monroe Streets and other ROW and/or easements acquired by the City of Monroe. CONTRACTOR to provide pre and post installation pressure testing of HDD 01 and HDD 02 pipe segments other pipe segments will require a single pressure test by OWNER and ENGINEER approved testing mediums and methods. All components and workmanship for this project to comply with CFR 49 DOT 191 -192 Pipeline Safety Regulations, State of Georgia Public Service Commission Regulations for Gas Utilities, the City of Monroe O&M and Construction Standards, GDOT, City of Monroe, Georgia and Georgia EPD permits and other applicable code, permit and regulatory requirements for this project. The project design requires materials procurement and workmanship by a qualified and experienced gas CONTRACTOR to achieve applicable regulatory codes for the pipeline and for an MAOP of the pipeline of 566 PSIG. The minimum test pressure will be 850 PSIG. Gas Tie ins Include in service welding to CFR 49 DOT 192, API 1104, and City of Monroe Welding Procedures of a weld on bottom out fitting and hot tap at Station 0+00 on the City of Monroe’s high pressure feeder line. CONTRACTOR to provide a prefabricated and pretested station riser with monolithic insulator at the project terminus to connect to a M&R station installed by the City of Monroe. The City of Monroe to stake the riser location. CONTRACTOR to provide all equipment materials as specified in the bid documents, drawings, and specifications with approval prior to purchasing by the OWNER and /or OWNER’S ENGINEER.
