This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission (KYOAAC) and in accordance with KRS 45A.097. The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from entities to assist in presenting the 2024 Kentucky Opioid Abatement Symposium, which will be held October 21 and 22 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. Any individual or entity that has received opioid-related funding through the KYOAAC Grant Portal in either 2023 or 2024 is ineligible for this sponsorship opportunity. The KYOAAC will host an in-person event to raise awareness of the work of and opportunities available through the Commission, spotlight grant recipients, highlight best practices in opioid abatement and remediation, and bolster collaborative partnerships. We anticipate, but cannot guarantee, 400 attendees from across the Commonwealth in various roles seeking to combat the Opioid Crisis in Kentucky. This two-day symposium will include training on grant writing as well as a variety of plenary and panel discussions on various topics related to opioid abatement, spanning the topics of treatment, recovery, and prevention.
