Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. AASHTO Technical Service Programs provide benefits to the member departments through the pooling of resources and expertise from across the country. AASHTO currently offers 19 TSPs. These TSPs are administered through AASHTO's Engineering and Technical Services Division and AASHTO's Policy Division. All of AASHTO’s Technical Service Programs (TSPs) have the accountability and obligation to serve AASHTO members. As an AASHTO member department, you have a say in setting the direction for these AASHTO programs. These programs were created by vote of the AASHTO Board of Directors to fulfill specific needs and to pool resources to build a much stronger national program than any one DOT could create on its own. State DOTs can use these programs instead of spending the money, time, and resources to create their own programs, or as a complement to their existing programs and processes. Funding for these programs is provided largely through voluntary contributions from participating state DOTs. Additional funding for various programs comes from fees for service, sponsorships, and federal, state, and local sources.
