Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Fairbanks Nijhuis (formerly Fairbanks Morse) pumps and parts are the only components compatible with the existing Fairbanks Nijhuis infrastructure at the Chambers Bay and Cascadia wastewater treatment plants and other County-owned pump sites. As the sole authorized distributor of Fairbanks Nijhuis pumps and related parts in Washington state, Granich Engineered Products is the only entity with the access to required replacement parts and components. As a result, Pierce County has identified the following minimum qualifications to meet the County’s need: 1. Authorization by the OEM to sell Fairbanks Nijhuis pumps and parts in Pierce County. 2. Alternatively, ability to provide pumps and parts of matching specifications compatible with the County’s existing wastewater and pump infrastructure.
