Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Seepex replacement pumps and parts are the only components compatible with, and suitable to repair or replace, the existing Seepex infrastructure at County-owned wastewater facilities. As the sole authorized distributor of Seepex pumps and related parts in this region, Granich Engineered Products is the only entity with the access to required replacement parts and components. As a result, Pierce County has identified the following minimum qualifications to meet the County’s need: 1. Authorization by the OEM to sell Seepex pumps and parts in Pierce County. 2. Alternatively, ability to provide pumps and parts of matching specifications compatible with the County’s existing wastewater and pump infrastructure. Pierce County has determined that Granich Engineered Products is the only entity meeting the above qualifications. Any company wishing to submit a protest to this procurement exemption must include a statement describing how the company meets all the above minimum qualifications.
