Design services, including, but not limited to: roadways and bridges, boat ramps and bulkheads, stormwater management, and structural design; Surveying; Geotechnical investigation, studies and services; Permitting; Right-of-way and easement acquisition; Creation of plans, specifications, cost estimates and analyses, including graphic representation; Bid phase services, including all aspects of bid process including compilation of bid results and preparation of presentation of recommendations to the Council and County Manager; Construction management services including construction administration, inspection, record drawing preparation and Resident Project Representative services; Review of developers’ plans, specifications, and agreements as representative of the County and its interests. Review and technical consultation on County planning documents such as, but not necessarily limited to: Comprehensive Plan, County Standards and Feasibility Studies, as requested. This list is not intended to be a comprehensive itemization of all tasks and activities to be performed by the successful firm. The successful firm shall not necessarily be the exclusive engineering firm for the County. The successful firm shall be expected to work in conjunction with other engineering firms as required. The County will request from the successful firm an itemized fee proposal to perform a specific task, then negotiate and establish an agreed scope of services, personnel resources, project schedule, and compensation to meet the goals of the specific task. When the scope of services and fees have been established, the County will issue a Notice to Proceed for each specific task.
