A. The Contractor must provide up to three (3) Spanish language medical interpreter courses per Contract year. The Department will approve the course schedule including which courses must be offered during the Contract year and the method of delivery (e.g., in-person or online in a synchronous virtual format provided by the Contractor), and, when applicable, location of the courses. In-person trainings may be required in any city in Idaho. If the Department receives additional funding and/or the need arises, additional courses may be requested. 1. All courses must incorporate information from the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Healthcare and the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Healthcare. The qualification courses must also include materials and information to prepare participants for the course certification exam that the Contractor must provide upon course completion. 2. The Contractor must deliver up to three (3) courses over the Contract year. The Department will choose which courses are offered. If the Department receives additional funding and/or the need arises, additional courses may be requested. A Medical Interpreter Qualification course (two [2] days each) with certification exam upon completion; b.
