• Phase 1 (Completed in 2021): o Restoration of the historic dark brown brick and Carthage Marble exterior. o Replacement of roofing materials and removal of non-historic rooftop equipment. o Installation of new aluminum windows matching the historic profile. o Exterior masonry restoration and selective interior demolition. • Phase 2 (Completed in 2023): o Interior renovation for City Administration, City Clerk, Code Enforcement, Municipal Court, Police, and Independence Housing Authority departments. o Restoration of original plaster walls and ceilings, marble wainscot, and historic wood trim. o Replacement of mechanical/HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. o Construction of a new one-story addition for the Police Department's 911/dispatch center.
