The Public Employees’ Benefits Program (PEBP) is seeking a vendor that will work in partnership with PEBP and other PEBP vendors to assure the continued success of the Program. Vendors are required to duplicate the level of service presently offered to the participants of the HMO plan. This does not, however, preclude proposing vendors from presenting alternative solutions. PEBP seeks a partner that will provide, at a minimum, the following services: Customer service Utilization review Concurrent review Disease management Large case management Wellness and preventive services benefits Vision benefits Mandated health benefits PEBP requires that the southern HMO plan provide the same benefits and coverage level as the northern Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) plan. Responses to this RFP should utilize the current HMO plan design. Bidders should propose an HMO with a southern Nevada service area similar to, if not equal to, the current HMO service area as well as a statewide service area.
