17.1.1 Provide all demolition indicated on the drawings and necessary for the installation of the work, including, but not limited to, saw-cut of existing concrete paving and the excavation required for installation of footings and foundations. Remove/dispose of cleared/demolished material offsite. 17.1.2 Remove or import soil as necessary to maintain existing grades indicated on the plans. 17.1.3 Provide required notice to the Department of Labor prior to beginning work. 17.1.4 Develop and implement a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and provide SWPPP reports per Missouri Department of Natural Resource standards to the County at weekly meetings and immediately following each rain event. Continue this work through the duration of the building construction, until the building, paving and landscaping, and all other activities related to final construction of the facilities are complete. 17.1.5 Construction meetings shall be held with-in the existing building, on weekdays when the facility is not open to the public. The Contractor shall provide a temporary conference room set-up with table and chairs for project meetings. 17.1.6 Provide a project sign. This sign will be designed by the County or by the Architect and will include the County’s logo, design team logos, County’s Technical Representative logo, the Contractor’s logo and a blank space for the Phase 2 Contractor’s logo. The sign will include the project name, a rendering and other information determined by the County. The sign shall be a minimum of 4’ x 14’ or equivalent. The sign shall be mounted on movable posts and the location shall be coordinated with the County. Sign shall be produced and installed as soon as possible following Contract execution. 17.1.7 Ensure that areas do NOT have standing water at the end of each day. Grade temporary swales to drain the site if necessary to achieve this requirement. 17.1.8 Provide all surveying and layout required to complete the Work. 17.1.9 Locate all public and private utilities. 17.1.10 Provide barricades, signage, flagging and flagman for traffic control and public safety during the execution of the Work. Coordinate road closures (full or partial) with the County and the local municipalities. 17.1.11 Provide street cleaning to remove dirt, mud, and debris generated by the project site as needed to maintain a clean surface at existing drives, parking lots and public roads. 17.1.12 Remove rubbish and debris from the site daily or as otherwise agreed with the County. This includes excess spoils, unsuitable materials, excess materials such as concrete, sand and masonry materials. 17.1.13 Furnish all dumpsters and haul offsite and legally dispose of all construction rubbish and debris. 17.1.14 Provide temporary construction toilets for Subcontractors, visitors, etc.
