Base Bid – City Hall – 100 N. Main St., O’Fallon, MO 63366 • Removal or grinding of old mortar will be performed after hours or on the weekends for City Hall ONLY. Hours listed below: o Monday - Wednesday 5pm – 10pm o NO Thursdays o Friday 5pm – 10pm o Saturday & Sunday 7am – 10pm Scope of work: • 100% Tuckpoint exterior from west side “front of City Hall” to North side of City Hall to approximately the second down spout as shown in appendix A and B. • Limestone and entry area included. • Caulking the limestone coping transverse joints are included. • Set up a controlled access zone around work area with barricades and caution tape to flag off area. • Remove downspouts to 100% tuckpoint as needed, repair as needed. • Grind existing mortar to 3/4 “and prep joints for new material. • Install new type N mortar and tool uniform, concave joint profile. • Mortar color to be selected by the City of O’Fallon MO. • Once cured, wash with 600 masonry detergent. • State regulations and Osha require grinding of any material containing silica to be performed with grinders that have Hepa filtered vacs attached. All waste to be disposed of properly. Alternate Bid #1 • Includes to caulk all Twenty-six (26) window perimeters on CITY HALL Only • Remove all existing sealant, prep and caulk with standard colored Dow 790 silicone sealant per manufacturers recommendations. • Joints to be tooled to a uniformed weathertight concave profile. Alternate Bid #2 – Heald Home – 1000 Jessup Dr., O’Fallon, MO 63366 100% Tuckpoint exterior west side of house including the foundation rubblestone and two chimneys as shown in appendix C, D and E Scope of work: • Set up a controlled access zone around work area with barricades and caution tape to flag off area. • Remove downspouts to 100% tuckpoint as needed, repair as needed. • Grind existing mortar to 3/4 “and prep joints for new material. • Install new type N mortar and tool uniform, concave joint profile. • Mortar color to be selected by the City of O’Fallon MO. • Once cured, wash with 600 masonry detergent. • Caulk all window perimeters 100% with White Dow 790 sealant to a smooth finish at The Heald home. • State regulations and Osha require grinding of any material containing silica to be performed with grinders that have Hepa filtered vacs attached. All waste to be disposed of properly. • Contractor will be responsible for removing and reinstalling the house shutters
