Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) requires to extend contract CS230689001 to work with rural health clinics to increase access and availability of COVID-19 vaccines and all other recommended vaccines by surveying rural health clinics (RHCs) on current vaccination workflow, assessing the number of RHCs who have standing orders for vaccination and who are enrolled as COVID-19 providers; collaborating with rural health clinics to ensure high-quality and safe vaccination through education and assisting clinics in developing written vaccination protocols; ensuring equitable distribution and administration of COVID-19 and other ACIP recommended vaccines through assisting RHCs in outreach to high-risk and underserved populations; participating in equity discussions upon request of DHSS; collaborating with partners to implement vaccination activities; working to increase vaccine confidence in rural populations through education, outreach and partnerships; developing and implementing community engagement strategies with RHCs to increase vaccine uptake; and assisting RHCs with reporting to ShowMeVax and one other connected activity. Missouri Rural Health Association is the only entity that has relationships to work with rural health clinics in Missouri. As a result, this represents that services are only available from a single provider that meets the criteria of a single feasible source under section 34.044, RSMo.
