3.1.1 Contractor must deliver liquid chemicals in bulk, not in drums, and pump the chemicals into Volk Field CRTC tanks. 3.1.2 Contractor must supply Volk Field CRTC chemical product as requested within seven (7) business days of order. 3.1.3 Contractor must provide the following types and concentrations of chemical products: A. Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), 50% - used in wells and wastewater B. Sodium hypochlorite (bleach), 12.5% - used in wells and wastewater C. Sodium bisulfite (chlorine neutralizer), 40% - used in wastewater D. Aluminum sulfate, 50% - used in wastewater 3.1.4 Fuel surcharges will not be allowed in this Contract. 3.1.5 Contractor must deliver orders to Volk Field CRTC, 100 Independence Drive, Camp Douglas, WI. 3.1.6 Contractor must deliver orders between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday excluding State Holidays. 3.1.7 Contractor must schedule all deliveries with DMA contact provided at time of order, at least one (1) business day in advance to ensure access to the facility is granted. 3.1.8 DMA will place order for delivery either by phone or e-mail, depending on the best method determined in collaboration with the awarded Contractor; from: Volk Field CRTC Base Civil Engineering Office. 3.1.9 Contractor’s delivery truck must be escorted from the main gate to the storage tank area(s). Anyone entering Volk Field ANGB will need to be preapproved and placed on the authorized entrant list (EAL). Background checks will be conducted before approval is given See Appendix 1 - Disqualifying Factors of Background Checks in the Supporting Documents. 3.1.10 Contractor must designate and name a supervisor/lead worker to provide on-going communication, coordination of Services, answer questions, and resolve issues. The supervisor/lead worker must act on the Contractor’s behalf for all matters involving the Contract and must assume ultimate responsibility for the Contractor’s performance.
