Specifications include, but are not limited to: 14.1 Certified startup of equipment shall be by factory trained technicians. 14.2 Certified startup technicians shall confirm and assist the County personnel in wiring termination from old equipment to new equipment. 14.3 Equipment MUST NOT be powered up prior to start up. 14.4 For bidding purposes only, the County has developed a sample list of manufacturers of hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated products previously purchased by the County. Type and quantity of items will be determined on a per-job basis. 14.5 Prior to placing an order, County departments shall submit product specification and quantities to the Contractor and the Contractor shall provide a written quote. 14.6 All items provided by the Contractor shall be new (unused). No substitutions will be allowed without written approval of the County for items that have been accepted as preapproved equals unless the item is discontinued. 14.7 Delivery times of product shall be communicated in writing to the County at the time of the quote. 14.8 Upon notification of backorders or inability to deliver when promised, the County reserves the right to cancel order without penalty or restocking fee .
