Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of St. Albans (the City) seeks a qualified contractor (the Contractor) to engage in a public process to update the City’s single jurisdictional local hazard mitigation plan (LHMP) in a manner compliant with the standards of the Vermont Dept. of Public Safety (the State) and the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The Contractor will work with the City to plan and facilitate the first hazard mitigation planning committee, including coordination of participants and preparation of materials. The Contractor will explain the hazard mitigation planning process to the City's planning committee at the Scoping Meeting, and the group will assign roles and responsibilities as appropriate.
