60’ x 8’ Bike/Ped Boardwalk on Helical Piles at Windham Drive in Montpelier SPECIFICATIONS FOR BID Materials: - Piles: o Contractor will provide helical piles sized and spaced appropriate to carry the load of bicycles and pedestrians across a 60’ x 8’ wide boardwalk. See specifications below. - Decking: o Decking and hardware will be supplied by the Parks Department - Framing Lumber o Framing Lumber and hardware will be supplied by the Parks Department - Railings o Lumber and hardware for railings will be supplied by the Parks Department Trail Work: - ~30 feet of trail tread to connect existing drive to bridge. - ~30 feet of trail tread to connect into mowed field trail. Labor/Installation: - Please include the following costs separated in the bid: 1. Cost to install all helical piles to the point where they are ready for framing. 2. Cost to build framing, decking, railings, etc., bringing the boardwalk to completion. 3. Cost to complete trail work.
