Specifics: 1. Prior to the start of work, the contractor shall shut off all utilities as required for project to include, but not limited to, the electrical, etc. 2. Remove and dispose of the two (2) existing thru-wall air conditioning/heating units in the two office spaces in building #2 at the fish hatchery. This work can only take place when the masonry contractor is onsite to immediately close up the block wall, or if it is temporarily closed up with plywood. The wall shall not be left open overnight. i. Contractor shall close remaining holes in the buildings’ CMU block wall where old units were removed with new CMU block and mortar, approximately ten (10) SF. ii. Primer paint the interior and exterior of the new concrete block after a minimum of seven (7) days has passed to allow new block mortar to dry. iii. Finish paint the interior and exterior of the new concrete block to match existing colors, approximately twenty (20) SF. 3. Remove and dispose of the two (2) wall-mounted, and one (1) ceiling-hung, electric heaters in building #2 shop office lab and shop space. Electrical wires shall be disconnected and terminated at the nearest junction box. 4. Install a new Four-Zone Mini-Split system with four (4) High Wall units; and two (2) outside heat pumps; and new system controls. i. Contractor shall minimize the number of exterior wall penetrations for the electrical and freon lines. ii. Contractor shall run the new electrical and freon lines in a neat, professional manner, secured to the walls and ceilings with the appropriate fastening straps. The existing electrical circuits from the old units shall be used for the new equipment as required by the manufacturer’s specifications. iii. Contractor shall install the two (2) outside heat pumps on condenser mounting pads level, and next to the building where the old units were removed after the masonry and painting work is complete. iv. Contractor shall ensure all exterior wall penetration are sealed where the electrical and freon lines enter the building
